A “Certified Peer Specialist” (CPS) means an individual who has been trained to support those with mental health, psychological trauma, or substance use by completing the HCA Certified Peer Specialist Training and passing the approved related tests associated with the new 80-hour curriculum.

This is an 80-hour hybrid training. All four weeks are virtual on zoom.


