Certified Peer Specialist Training: HH26-CPS7VT
You have been invited to join Holding the Hope for our Washington State Certified Peer Specialist training!
Please do not share this link with anyone.
A “Certified Peer Specialist” (CPS) means an individual who has been trained to support those with
mental health, psychological trauma, or substance use by completing the HCA Certified Peer Specialist
Training and passing the approved related tests associated with the new 80-hour curriculum.
This is an 80-hour hybrid training. All four weeks are virtual on zoom.
100% Virtual: Feb 23-Feb 27, Mar 2-Mar 6, Mar 9-Mar 13, Mar 16-Mar 20 – Monday-Friday 1pm – 5pm
Test date & time will be announced after registration.
Holding the Hope will mail you a CPS manual, notepad, pen, and highlighter.
If you are in need of an ADA accommodation for training and/or testing, please advise molly@holdingthehope.com at least 2 weeks prior to training. We will work with you to ensure success!
After training has ended, you will complete a Written Exam and an Exit Interview (oral portion). You will need access to a laptop or computer for the exams. Both exams will be online. Cell phones cannot be used. Testing dates and details will be announced shortly.
Please register within the next 7 days to secure your spot. If you are unable to attend, please let us know so you can be invited to another training in the future.
Thank you and we look forward to supporting you in becoming a Certified Peer Counselor!
Warm regards,
Holding the Hope Team
