CONTINUING EDUCATION WORKSHOP
FOR PEER SUPPORT COUNSELORS
As peer counselors, we can be strong advocates for culturally-specific recovery. In this workshop, we will explore some ways to:
1) draw upon cultural strengths
2) increase cross-cultural understanding and
3) move towards healing justice in order to improve outcomes with
participants, coworkers, and supervisors.
This is a no-pressure interactive workshop that encourages transforming mistakes into opportunities for connection. We will play games, share stories, and get smarter together. Bring your questions, your lived experience, and your whole self into the room!
This workshop is only open for peers working in Washington state.
