Crisis Awareness and Communications in Peer Support Training (CACPS) is an event you won’t want to miss! Join us for a week (36 hours) of learning and networking with like-minded individuals who are passionate about mental health and peer support.

Our training sessions will cover topics such as crisis intervention, effective communication skills, and self-care strategies. We also cover how to ask about suicide and support people thinking of suicide.

This in-person event is a great opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills in supporting others during challenging times. Don’t miss out on this valuable experience!

October 21-25, 2024 in Spokane County (registration is closed)

November 4-8, 2024 in Kitsap County

November 18-22, 2024 in Pierce County (registration is closed)

December 2-6, 2024 in King County (registration is almost full)

March 17-21, 2025 in Clark County

No Show/No Call Policy: Once you are registered, please notify us immediately if you cannot attend.  Registering for this training is a commitment. Trainers and staff at Holding the Hope put in a lot of time and funds to secure trainers and training spaces and provide food throughout each day and if you do not show up, the training may be cancelled affecting everyone else who signed up as well.
